Ai Assisted Visual Case Analysis Nursing Students Artificial Intelligence (Ai) Pressure Injury Prevention Randomized Controlled Trial

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how using artificial intelligence (AI) to help nursing students learn about preventing pressure injuries affects their knowledge and attitudes. Pressure injuries, also known as bedsores, can occur when patients are not moved regularly. In this study, some nursing students will use an AI-supported presentation to learn about pressure injury prevention, while others will receive traditional teaching methods. Researchers want to see if the AI approach helps students learn better and feel more confident about preventing these injuries.

To be eligible for the trial, participants should be first-time students in the Fundamentals of Nursing II course and not currently working as nurses. They should also be willing to take part in the study. Participants will attend classes and, at the end, fill out questionnaires to assess their knowledge and attitudes about pressure injury prevention. It’s important to note that those who have previous training in this area or have repeated the course will not be included. This study aims to find out if innovative teaching methods, like AI, can improve nursing education and ultimately patient care.
