ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a communication tool called SBAR (which stands for Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) can help nursing students improve their decision-making skills and reduce medical errors during their training. Effective communication is crucial in healthcare because it helps ensure that patients receive safe and appropriate care. By teaching nursing students to use SBAR, the trial aims to show how structured communication can enhance teamwork and patient safety.
To participate in this study, you need to be a nursing student in your third year who has some clinical practice experience. Unfortunately, if you are in an exchange program or have transferred from a different school without clinical experience, you won’t be eligible. If you join, you can expect to engage in various assessments and interviews that will help researchers understand the impact of the SBAR program on your learning experience. Overall, this trial aims to improve nursing education and ultimately enhance patient care by reducing medical errors.
