ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how effective remote education and counseling can be for women under 34 years old who are having trouble getting pregnant and are waiting for specialized care. Infertility affects many couples, and while there's support for contraception, there's less help for those trying to conceive. The study will include women who have been referred for infertility treatment in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and have access to a phone or the internet. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive standard care while waiting for their in-person consultation, and the other will get extra education and counseling through video calls.

If you’re a woman 33 years old or younger who is experiencing infertility and has not undergone any previous specialized treatment, you may be eligible to participate. The goal is to see if the additional guidance through video calls can help improve the chances of getting the right referrals for further treatment. The trial aims to include 206 participants and will measure how many women get properly referred according to local guidelines. This study is not yet recruiting, but it offers an opportunity for women to receive valuable information and support while they wait for their appointments.
