ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding the best ways to educate caregivers of children with cancer about the disease and its treatment. The goal is to help caregivers feel more confident and knowledgeable, which can lead to better support for their children during treatment. When caregivers understand what to expect, it can also help make sure that their kids stick to their treatment plans.
To be eligible for this study, caregivers must be adults who are looking after children under 18 years old with a known cancer diagnosis. They should be able to understand and speak Swahili, and if they have trouble reading, a family member who can read in Swahili must be available to help. Participants will receive educational messages that they can access, but those who cannot access these messages won't be able to join the trial. This study is currently not recruiting participants yet, but it aims to provide valuable information that could improve the way caregivers support their children during a challenging time.
