ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "Respiration and Balance in Adolescent Volleyball Players" is studying how the strength and endurance of breathing muscles, along with balance, can affect the performance of young volleyball players. Researchers want to see if good respiratory muscle strength and endurance can help players perform better during games without getting tired. This is important because it has not been studied before in adolescent athletes.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be between the ages of 10 and 19 and have played volleyball for at least one year. They also need to have permission from a parent or guardian. However, if someone has had a serious injury or any significant health issues recently, they may not be eligible to join. Participants can expect to undergo various tests to measure their breathing strength and balance while contributing to important research that could help improve training for young athletes. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to take part.
