ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see how two different types of exercise programs can help older adults improve their health. One program combines aerobic exercise—like walking or cycling— with music therapy, while the other is a traditional aerobic exercise program without music. The researchers want to find out which method is better for improving things like heart and lung function, balance, muscle strength, thinking skills, mood, and overall quality of life in individuals aged 65 and older.
To join the study, participants must be 65 years or older and willing to take part. However, people with certain health conditions, such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious diabetes complications, breathing problems like asthma, neurological disorders, recent surgeries, or significant cognitive issues, will not be eligible. If you or a family member is interested in this study, it could provide valuable insights into how music can support physical activity and improve well-being in older adults.
