ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing a virtual reality (VR) program to help nursing students in Thailand learn how to care for psychiatric patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). The researchers believe that using VR technology will make it easier for students to understand the process of ECT and improve their knowledge, attitudes, and skills in providing care before, during, and after the treatment.
To participate, nursing students must be between 18 and 24 years old, speak Thai fluently, and volunteer for the study. Those who have learning or psychiatric disorders, or who have already studied or cared for ECT patients, will not be eligible. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will use the VR program, while the other will wait to receive it later. Throughout the study, the researchers will assess how much the students learn and how confident they feel in their abilities to care for these patients. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve nursing education and patient care in the future.
