ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how taking anti-inflammatory medications, specifically ibuprofen and dexamethasone, before a dental procedure called endodontics (which treats painful tooth issues) can help reduce pain afterward. It aims to find out if these medications can make the recovery process more comfortable for patients with severe tooth pain caused by inflamed dental pulp.
To join this study, participants should be healthy adults aged 18 to 50, with a permanent tooth that has severe inflammation but no swelling or drainage. They should be willing to attend follow-up appointments and provide written consent. However, people who are currently taking pain medications or antibiotics, have certain dental conditions, or are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot participate. If you qualify and decide to join, you can expect to receive the medications before your dental treatment and then report how you feel afterward, helping researchers understand the effects of these drugs on post-treatment pain.
