ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a traditional Chinese herbal medicine called Guilu Erxian Jiao to see if it can help people who experience low blood pressure during their hemodialysis treatments. This condition, known as intradialytic hypotension (IDH), can cause symptoms like dizziness and fatigue, making dialysis sessions uncomfortable. Researchers want to find out if taking Guilu Erxian Jiao daily, along with standard care, can reduce how often and how severely patients experience low blood pressure during dialysis. They will also check if this herbal medicine is safe for patients on hemodialysis.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, receiving hemodialysis three times a week, and have a history of low blood pressure during these sessions. Participants will take Guilu Erxian Jiao or stick with standard care for four weeks, then switch treatments after a short break. Throughout the study, your blood pressure will be closely monitored, and you’ll report any symptoms you experience. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide important information about managing low blood pressure in patients undergoing hemodialysis.
