ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying ways to help bank employees in Karachi, Pakistan, live healthier lives and reduce their risk of heart diseases. Many office workers sit for long hours without much movement, which can lead to serious health issues. The researchers are testing a mobile app called m-LIfE, which is designed to encourage these employees to be more active and eat better by sending reminders and tips for exercise and healthy eating over a 12-week period.
To take part in the study, participants need to have worked at a bank for at least six months. Those with certain heart conditions, pregnant women, or anyone with health issues that limit their physical activity cannot join. Participants will be split into two groups: one group will use the m-LIfE app, while the other will receive basic information about healthy habits. After the 12 weeks, researchers will check in with everyone to see if they are continuing to maintain their healthy habits. This study aims to find simple and effective ways to help office workers improve their health.
