ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding how chronic kidney failure affects children and adolescents, specifically looking at their strength, physical activity, sleep quality, and overall quality of life. Researchers want to compare these factors between children with chronic kidney failure and those who are healthy to see how much their everyday lives are impacted by the condition.

To participate in this study, children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 with chronic kidney failure must be stable in their health for at least the last three weeks and able to cooperate with the measurements taken during the trial. Healthy children of the same age range can also join if they have no serious health issues. Participants will undergo various tests to measure their strength and activity levels, helping scientists gain insights that could improve care for those with chronic kidney conditions. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to shed light on important aspects of living with chronic kidney failure.
