ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving mental health support for military service members, specifically those dealing with issues like depression, anxiety, and grief. Researchers want to see if training behavioral health technicians to use proven methods for treating these problems will be more effective than the usual care they currently provide. The goal is to help active-duty airmen by giving these technicians better tools and resources to support their mental health needs.
To participate in the trial, you need to be a service member currently seeing a behavioral health technician who is embedded in your unit. Unfortunately, if you aren't currently seeing a technician or if your technician is not part of the team, you won't be eligible. If you join, you can expect to receive enhanced support that includes evidence-based interventions, which are strategies backed by research to improve mental health. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it aims to make a real difference in how mental health support is provided in the military.
