ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the different types of gum structures, called periodontal phenotypes, in the upper and lower front teeth of people in France. Understanding these phenotypes is important because they can affect how well we treat and predict the health of a person's gums. The trial aims to find out how common these different gum structures are and to identify any factors that might increase the risk of gum problems.
To be eligible to participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, a dental student at the university hospitals in Nice or Nancy, and generally healthy with no ongoing dental issues. Women who are pregnant, people undergoing certain treatments, or those with active gum disease will not be able to take part. If you join the study, you can expect a thorough assessment of your gum and bone structure, which will help researchers learn more about gum health and improve treatment strategies in the future.
