ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether a short program of three sessions can help people who are dealing with chronic pain and have experienced stressful events or trauma in their lives. Chronic pain means having pain that lasts for three months or longer. The researchers want to see if this brief intervention can make a difference in how people feel and manage their pain and emotional struggles.
To participate, you need to be between 70 and 76 years old, have chronic pain, and have a history of trauma or stressful experiences. You should also be comfortable using a smartphone, laptop, or computer, as the sessions will be held online. If you can commit to attending three weekly sessions and do not have significant cognitive issues like dementia or psychosis, you may be eligible to join. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to provide valuable insights into ways to support individuals facing both chronic pain and the effects of past stress.
