ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to assess lung health using an ultrasound technique called the Lung Sliding Index (LSI). The goal is to see how well this method can help doctors distinguish between different lung diseases, like COPD, pneumonia, and others. Participants will be evaluated to see how accurately the LSI can identify these conditions and how it relates to the severity of their illness. The study also aims to ensure that both patients and healthcare providers are satisfied with the process.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of one of the lung diseases being studied or be healthy controls. They need to be able to provide written consent and must not have any conditions that would make it difficult to undergo a lung ultrasound. The trial has not yet started recruiting participants, but once it does, those who join can expect a thorough evaluation of their lung health and to contribute valuable information that may improve future lung disease diagnoses.
