ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new, non-invasive technology that uses sound waves to measure how stiff your arteries are. Arterial stiffness is an important factor in understanding heart health and can help assess the risk for conditions like hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. The researchers aim to see how well this new method works in a real-world healthcare setting and whether combining different types of health data can improve the accuracy of assessing cardiovascular risk.

To participate in the trial, you should be an adult patient who is already receiving care at one of the study sites and able to give your consent. You won't be eligible if you have significant cognitive issues, cannot understand the study information in English or Swedish, or have other serious health conditions. If you choose to participate, you will help researchers learn more about heart health, and you may contribute to the development of better tools for assessing cardiovascular disease risk.
