ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial, called DHEAL-COM-PD, is studying how a special program using technology can help improve the physical abilities of older adults with early-stage Parkinson's disease. The goal is to see if this tele-rehabilitation approach can make it easier for participants to move and perform daily activities. The trial is designed for individuals who are currently managing their Parkinson's disease and can stand independently for more than 30 seconds.

To be eligible for the study, participants must be diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at a specific stage (stages I to III) and have a good level of mental functioning. They should also have stable medication for at least a month and not have any serious health issues that could affect their ability to participate, like recent heart or stroke problems. If you or a loved one meet these criteria, you may have the opportunity to take part in this important research aimed at enhancing the quality of life for those living with Parkinson's disease.
