ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the physical challenges that children and teenagers with cystic fibrosis (CF) may face compared to healthy kids. The researchers want to learn more about issues like urinary incontinence (difficulty controlling urination), shortness of breath, muscle strength, everyday functioning, and overall quality of life in young people with CF. By understanding these differences, the trial hopes to improve care and support for children with this condition.
To participate, children aged 6 to 18 who have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and are stable (feeling well for at least three weeks) can volunteer. Healthy children in the same age range who have no serious health issues and can also cooperate with the study are invited to join as a comparison group. Participants can expect to take part in various measurements related to their physical abilities and health. Please note that the trial is not currently recruiting participants, but it’s an important step towards better understanding and treatment for those affected by cystic fibrosis.
