ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a method called the erector spinae plane block, which uses ultrasound to help manage pain after surgery. Specifically, it focuses on children who are having a procedure called thoracoscopic sympathectomy, a type of surgery done to treat certain conditions. The goal is to see if this pain management technique can help reduce pain and any breathing issues that might occur after the surgery.

To be part of this study, children aged 6 to 16 years who are scheduled for this surgery can participate, as long as they are generally healthy. However, children with certain health problems, like allergies to local anesthetics or severe spinal issues, cannot join. Participants will receive the erector spinae plane block to help with pain control, and the researchers will closely monitor their recovery. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to improving care for kids undergoing this type of surgery.
