ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial aims to find out if Adapted Physical Activity (APA) programs can help prevent falls in people over the age of 65. Falls can be a serious concern for older adults, and this study will look at how effective these specially designed exercise programs are in reducing that risk. The trial will be held at Sport-Health Centers and is not yet open for participants.
To be eligible for this study, individuals should be at risk of falling and have been participating in an APA program for at least three months. They must also agree to take part in the study. However, people who refuse to join, have health issues that prevent them from participating in the APA, or are under legal guardianship will not be included. Participants can expect to engage in tailored exercises aimed at improving their strength and balance, which may ultimately help them feel safer and more confident in their daily activities.
