ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the effectiveness of two different treatment methods—positional release techniques and the Graston technique—for helping people with trigger point pain in the trapezius muscle, which is located in the upper back and neck area. Trigger points are tight areas in muscles that can cause pain and discomfort. The study aims to find out which of these techniques works better to relieve this type of pain.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 55 years old and have at least one trigger point causing pain. However, if you have certain conditions, like a history of significant head or upper back injuries, or health issues that affect bleeding, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and help researchers understand how effective these techniques are for managing trigger point pain. The trial is currently looking for participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, this could be a chance to explore new treatment options.
