ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different treatments for people suffering from chronic non-specific low back pain, which is pain that lasts for more than three months without a clear cause. The study is comparing percussive therapy, which uses special handheld devices to deliver rapid pressure pulses that help relax muscles and relieve pain, to instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), a technique that uses specialized tools to massage and improve the flexibility of the tissues in the back. The goal is to see which method works better for reducing pain and improving movement and function in patients with this type of back pain.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 50 years old and have been experiencing low back pain for more than three months, with a pain level of at least 3 on a scale of 0 to 10. Unfortunately, if you have a history of trauma, diabetes, or certain other medical conditions related to your spine or muscles, you may not be eligible to join. If you choose to participate, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and help researchers learn more about how these therapies can benefit people with chronic back pain. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon.
