ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is used to help people with bronchial dilatation disease, also known as bronchiectasis. The study is not giving any new treatments; instead, it's gathering information from medical records to better understand the people who receive long-term NIV. Researchers want to learn about the characteristics of these patients, why they started using NIV, and how it is adjusted over time.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be over 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of bronchiectatic disease, which is a condition that affects the airways in the lungs, based on imaging tests. People with cystic fibrosis, certain types of lung diseases like COPD or asthma, or those who do not wish to participate will not be included. For those who do take part, their existing medical records will be reviewed to gather the necessary information. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders aged 18 and older.
