ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to help doctors identify asthma in young children as early as possible. Asthma is a condition that affects breathing, and finding it early can lead to better treatment and fewer health problems later on. The trial will use information already collected in doctors' electronic medical records to develop a special tool, or algorithm, that can alert doctors when a child might have asthma.
To be eligible for this study, children must be between 2 and 5 years old and have had at least two visits to a participating doctor in certain clinics in France. Parents will be informed about how their child's medical information will be used and must agree to this use. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it begins, families can expect to help improve the way asthma is diagnosed in children, which could lead to better health outcomes for future patients.
