ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how forward head posture, which is when the head leans forward instead of being aligned with the spine, affects hand function in dentists. Specifically, researchers want to see if this posture changes how strong a dentist's grip is and how well they can sense their wrist position. The study will include male and female dentists aged 23 to 30 who have a specific range of body weight and exhibit forward head posture.
If you're a dentist within this age range and meet the criteria, you might be eligible to participate. Participants will undergo tests to measure their hand strength and wrist position sense. It's important to note that individuals with a history of neck injuries, certain neck conditions, or upper limb disorders won’t be able to participate in this study. Overall, this research aims to better understand how poor head posture could impact the daily work and hand function of dental professionals.
