ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on collecting ultrasound images from patients who are suspected of having deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a condition where blood clots form in the deep veins, often in the legs. The goal is to create a large set of labeled ultrasound images and videos that researchers can use to train an artificial intelligence (AI) model. This AI will help detect DVT automatically during routine ultrasound scans in the future, making diagnosis quicker and more accurate.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and capable of giving consent. You should also be scheduled for an ultrasound scan because your doctor suspects you might have DVT. Participants will undergo their usual ultrasound exam, and the images collected will be used for research while keeping personal information private. If you have any conditions that might prevent the ultrasound from being completed or if your doctor feels you are not suitable for the scan, you will not be eligible for this study. This research aims to ultimately improve DVT detection, benefiting patients and healthcare providers alike.
