ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment approach for gum diseases like gingivitis and periodontitis. The researchers want to see if using a micro-needling technique with ozonated olive oil can improve gum health, comparing it to standard treatments that are already well-established. Ozonated olive oil is a natural option, which may have fewer side effects than traditional medications. The trial is still in the planning stages and hasn't started recruiting participants yet.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 18 and 60 years old and must not have any serious health conditions. They should be experiencing gum issues caused by plaque buildup, like gingivitis or periodontitis. However, individuals who smoke, have certain types of gum diseases not related to plaque, or have specific dental conditions will not be able to participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive either the new treatment or the standard care, and you will be closely monitored throughout the study to assess the results.
