ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Frenkel Exercises in Geriatric Balance and Fall Prevention," is exploring how specific exercises can help improve balance and reduce the fear of falling in older adults. As we age, our bodies can become weaker and less coordinated, which increases the risk of falls—an important health concern for people over 65. The study focuses on a type of exercise called Frenkel's Stabilization Exercises, which are designed to enhance physical performance and overall balance.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be 65 years or older and able to understand the study questions. They should also be willing to take part in the exercises. However, those with serious injuries or health conditions that would make it difficult to exercise safely won't be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in a structured exercise program aimed at improving their strength and balance, which can ultimately lead to a healthier and more active lifestyle. This research is important because it aims to find effective ways to prevent falls and promote better health in older adults.
