ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the effects of a special 8-week exercise program on knee pain and muscle strength in young women who have patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). This condition causes pain in the front of the knee, especially during activities like climbing stairs, squatting, or sitting for long periods. The goal of the study is to see if targeted exercises can help reduce pain and improve muscle strength in the affected individuals.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be women experiencing knee pain for at least three months, and they must be able to understand and follow exercise instructions. However, those who have had knee surgery or injuries in the past year, have other knee problems, or are pregnant will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you will follow a structured exercise program designed specifically for your condition, and you will help researchers learn more about effective treatments for knee pain.
