ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a new wireless device, called the ANNE One-Wellue Device Array, can impact the way hospital staff measure and record vital signs, like heart rate and blood pressure, for patients staying in the hospital. The goal is to see if using this device makes it easier and faster for healthcare providers to check on patients compared to the usual method of taking vital signs.
To participate in the trial, you need to be an inpatient at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, specifically in the Feinberg Unit 16 West. The trial is open to all adults aged 65 to 74, but some people may not be eligible, such as those who don't speak English, are pregnant, or work or study at the hospital. If you join the study, you will be randomly assigned to use either the new device or the standard method for measuring vital signs, and the researchers will observe how much time is spent on these activities. This research aims to improve patient care and enhance the overall experience for both patients and healthcare providers.
