ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how energy conservation techniques combined with pursed lip breathing can improve the quality of life for people with bronchiectasis. Bronchiectasis is a lung condition where the airways become widened, making it hard for patients to clear mucus, which can lead to infections. The researchers want to see if these breathing exercises can help patients feel more independent and improve their overall well-being.
To participate in the study, individuals must be between 40 to 60 years old and diagnosed with bronchiectasis. People with certain health issues, like severe heart or lung conditions, are not eligible to join. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires about their quality of life and a walking test to measure their physical ability. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information that could help others with bronchiectasis in the future.
