ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special strength training program aimed at improving the rhomboid muscles in patients with Upper Crossed Syndrome (UCS). UCS often leads to issues like poor posture, neck pain, and discomfort because some muscles become weak while others become tight. The researchers want to see if strengthening the rhomboids can help reduce pain, improve posture, and lessen disability in people with this condition.
To participate in the trial, you should be between 20 and 45 years old, and both men and women can join. You’ll need to have a specific head and neck angle (less than 50 degrees) indicating forward head posture, and positive results from certain tests for UCS. However, if you have certain serious health conditions like tuberculosis, heart disease, or osteoporosis, you won’t be eligible to participate. If you qualify and decide to join, you can expect to follow a training program that targets these muscles to help improve your symptoms and overall well-being. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, so keep an eye out for updates if you're interested!
