ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two treatments for people with non-specific neck pain, which is a common issue that can cause discomfort, poor posture, and difficulty in daily activities. The trial will compare two groups: one group will receive a treatment called Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAGs) combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while the second group will receive SNAGs along with exercises to stabilize the neck. Over four weeks, participants will attend sessions twice a week, and the researchers will look at changes in pain levels, neck posture, and overall disability.
To join the trial, participants should be between 18 and 28 years old, experience a specific type of neck pain, and have not received any treatment for their neck pain in the last three months. It’s important to note that individuals with certain conditions, like previous spinal surgery or specific neck injuries, will not be eligible. Those who participate will help researchers understand how these treatments can improve neck pain and posture, contributing to better care for others with similar issues.
