ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a treatment called Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) can help patients heal better after a surgery called septoplasty, which is done to fix a bent nasal septum (the cartilage that divides the nose). The researchers want to see if using PRF can lead to fewer complications and improve how well patients breathe after the surgery.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be adults between 18 and 65 years old who are scheduled for septoplasty due to a deviated septum. They should not have any blood-clotting disorders, be on blood-thinning medications, or have any active infections or serious health issues. This study is not recruiting participants yet, but if you qualify and choose to join, you can expect to undergo standard surgery with the added use of PRF to potentially enhance your recovery.
