ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the best way to plan surgery for repairing a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. The researchers want to find out if the traditional method of positioning the surgery tunnels at the center of the ACL's attachment points is actually effective. They will use advanced 4D scanning technology to observe how these points change as the knee moves. If they discover that the traditional method doesn't work as well as believed, they plan to create software that can help surgeons make more accurate plans for surgery.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy adult aged 18 or older and provide written consent. You should not have had previous knee surgeries or certain knee injuries, and women of childbearing age need to have a negative pregnancy test. Participants will undergo MRI scans as part of the study, which is a safe and non-invasive imaging technique. Overall, this trial aims to improve ACL reconstruction techniques, potentially leading to better outcomes for patients in the future.
