ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how using virtual reality (VR) glasses to watch calming nature videos and listen to soothing sounds can affect sleep quality and anxiety levels in pregnant women who are considered high-risk. The researchers want to see if this type of relaxation technique can help improve the well-being of these women while they are hospitalized. The study will involve women who have been in the hospital for more than three days, can communicate verbally, and have no hearing or vision issues. Participants should also be citizens of Türkiye and willing to join the study.
If you’re eligible and choose to participate, you will spend some time using the VR headset, which aims to help you relax and potentially improve your sleep and reduce anxiety. The research is set to start collecting data in June 2025 and will continue until December 2026. It’s important to note that women with diagnosed psychiatric disorders or those who cannot speak Turkish will not be able to take part in this study. Your involvement could contribute to understanding new ways to support high-risk pregnant women during their hospital stay.
