ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how long people can keep their necks stable while looking at something, which is called cervical endurance time, and how it relates to where they are looking, or eye gaze. The trial will involve 46 normal students who will be split into two groups of 23. The research will take place in a physical therapy lab and a speech and hearing center at Allied Medical School.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be normal students aged between 18 and 25 years. However, those who have had neck pain in the last six months or scored below a certain level on a specific neck strength test will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in activities that measure how long you can hold your neck steady while looking at different targets. This research aims to better understand the connection between neck stability and eye movement, which could help improve treatments for related issues in the future.
