ClinConnect Summary
The Real-time NOMA Evaluation trial is looking at how an advanced system can help doctors provide better care in intensive care units (ICUs). This system monitors electronic health records (EHR) constantly and sends real-time alerts when it detects unusual behavior by healthcare providers. The goal is to see if these alerts can improve how doctors respond to patients at the bedside, potentially leading to better outcomes for critically ill patients.
This study will include all patients admitted to the ICUs at Presbyterian and Montefiore hospitals, so if you or a loved one is receiving care there, you may be eligible to participate. The trial is still in the planning stages and hasn't started recruiting participants yet. If you join, you can expect to be part of an important effort to enhance patient care through technology, with no specific exclusions for participation.
