ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how virtual reality (VR) can help improve cognitive skills in children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The researchers want to see if using VR can make a positive difference for kids aged 7 to 12 who are already receiving treatment for ADHD and have stable medication. To be eligible for the study, children must have a diagnosis of ADHD confirmed by a qualified child psychiatrist and be able to understand basic instructions.
The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if your child is selected, they will engage in activities using virtual reality technology designed to enhance their thinking and learning abilities. It's important to note that children with other neurological or psychiatric conditions, recent surgeries, or difficulties in understanding verbal and visual instructions will not be able to participate. This trial aims to explore new ways to support children with ADHD, and it could lead to exciting advancements in treatment options.
