ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how recording preoperative visits on personal smartphones affects patient satisfaction in orthopedic care. Essentially, it aims to see if giving patients the option to record their conversations with healthcare providers helps them feel more satisfied with their care. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it will involve patients who are going to the RUHS for an orthopedic evaluation before surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have a smartphone and be scheduled for a preoperative orthopedic visit. Unfortunately, patients who do not have smartphones will not be able to take part. If you decide to participate, you’ll have the opportunity to record your visit, which might help you remember important information and feel more confident about your upcoming procedure. This trial is open to everyone, regardless of gender, and aims to improve the overall patient experience in orthopedic care.
