ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new X-ray platform called LiFlow, which is designed to improve the way doctors assess and monitor solid cancers in patients. As cancer cases increase, doctors are facing challenges due to the huge volume of images produced during scans, making it harder and longer to interpret results. The trial aims to see how well this new technology works in real-life settings, helping to ensure that important changes in a patient’s condition are not missed.
To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old and have had a TAP (thoraco-abdomino-pelvic) scan. However, those who have had issues with the quality of their scans or who cannot receive contrast medium (a special dye used to improve imaging) will not be eligible. Participants in the trial can expect to have their scans evaluated using the new LiFlow platform, which may potentially lead to faster and more accurate assessments of their cancer treatment progress. This trial is an exciting step towards improving cancer care through better technology.
