ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of special rubber insoles on healthcare professionals who have a condition called foot hyperpronation, which means their feet roll inward too much when they walk. This condition can cause pain and other foot problems, especially for those who spend long hours on their feet, like nurses and doctors. The trial has two main goals: first, to make sure a foot health questionnaire is reliable for measuring foot health in Italian; and second, to see if wearing specific professional shoes with these corrective insoles can help reduce pain and improve posture for healthcare workers.
The trial is currently looking for participants who are healthcare workers under the age of 65, who spend 60% to 80% of their work time standing, and who have foot hyperpronation. Participants will need to wear the specially designed insoles for at least three months. If you join the study, you can expect to help researchers understand more about foot health while also potentially experiencing less pain and better posture in your daily work. Remember, this study is focused on those without other foot problems, so it's important to check if you meet these criteria before considering participation.
