ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to better monitor and manage new cases of certain types of arthritis and autoimmune diseases in children and young adults. The conditions being looked at include juvenile idiopathic arthritis (a common type of arthritis in kids), rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (a disease that can affect multiple organs), diffuse systemic sclerosis (a condition that causes hardening of the skin), and other related types of arthritis. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 2 to 50 who have either never received treatment for their condition or have been treated for three months or less.
If you or someone you know is eligible, participants can expect regular check-ups and monitoring to help understand how these conditions progress over time. This study aims to provide valuable information that could lead to better treatments in the future. Remember, this trial is for individuals who are newly diagnosed, so if someone has been treated for more than three months or is over 50 years old, they wouldn't qualify to participate.
