ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective a specific test called videonystagmography (VNG) is in diagnosing vestibular migraine compared to other types of migraines and healthy individuals. VNG is a test that helps doctors understand balance problems and vertigo (a sensation of spinning). The researchers want to find out if there are noticeable differences in test results among patients with vestibular migraine, those with other types of migraines, and people without any migraine issues.

To join the study, participants need to fall into one of three groups: those with a confirmed diagnosis of vestibular migraine, those with episodic or chronic migraines (but not vestibular migraine), or healthy individuals without any type of migraine. People with certain conditions, such as other vertigo disorders, hearing loss, and some chronic diseases affecting balance, will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo the videonystagmography test, which is non-invasive and designed to help improve the understanding and diagnosis of vestibular migraine. This could lead to better treatment options for those who suffer from this condition.
