ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether specific exercises aimed at strengthening and stabilizing the shoulder blade area can help traditional archery athletes improve their shooting accuracy and arm performance. The study will include 30 archers aged 15 to 35 who have at least two years of experience in traditional archery. Participants will be randomly divided into two groups—one group will add these special shoulder exercises to their usual training, while the other group will continue with their regular training without the extra exercises.
If you join the study, you’ll be asked to complete tests before and after an 8-week period to measure your arm strength, stability, awareness of arm position (called proprioception), and how well you shoot. To take part, you need to be a licensed traditional archer who trains regularly and is willing to provide consent. People who have had recent arm surgery, ongoing arm injuries, or neurological conditions won’t be eligible. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to find out if these targeted exercises can make a real difference in archery performance.
