ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how respiratory muscle weakness, known as sarcopenia, affects adults with Type 2 diabetes. Researchers want to find out how common this condition is among people with diabetes. To gather information, participants will undergo several tests to check their body strength and performance, such as measuring grip strength and seeing how well they can walk and get up from a chair.
To join the study, participants need to be between 18 and 65 years old, have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and be in stable health. They should also be able to follow instructions for the tests. However, people with certain health issues, like severe joint problems, infections, or cancer, cannot participate. The study is not currently recruiting participants, but it aims to help understand the impact of muscle strength on people living with diabetes.
