ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how different factors, like age and body weight, affect the ability to imagine movements in children with cerebral palsy (CP). Researchers want to understand how age, sex, and other physical measures influence how well a child with CP can picture themselves moving, which is an important skill for motor learning and development. The study aims to gather more information since there aren’t many studies on this topic.

To participate in this trial, children between the ages of 6 and 18 with specific types of spastic cerebral palsy can apply. Eligible participants should have a certain level of motor function and the ability to understand instructions. However, children with serious vision or hearing problems, heart issues, or those who have recently undergone specific treatments will not be included. If selected, participants will take part in activities to help researchers learn more about how these factors affect their ability to imagine movements. This study could provide valuable insights that may lead to better support and therapies for children with cerebral palsy in the future.
