ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether spending time in nature can help improve the physical and mental health of older adults who experience chronic lower back pain. The researchers want to find out if participating in a nature-based program can make things better for participants, such as their mobility, strength, and overall well-being. The trial is currently looking for volunteers aged 65 and older who have had low back pain for at least three months and can walk independently.
Participants in the study will attend one session each week where they will take part in activities designed to connect them with nature. Before starting the program and after completing it, participants will be assessed to see how their condition has changed. It’s important to note that those with severe musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, or neurological conditions, as well as some other serious health issues, will not be eligible to join. This is a great opportunity for older adults looking for new ways to manage their pain and improve their quality of life.
