ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new teaching method called the Jigsaw IV learning technique to see if it can help nursing students learn better about assessing the heart and thorax, which are important skills for their future careers. The study will involve 70 second-year nursing students at Baskent University, who will be divided into two groups. One group will learn using the Jigsaw IV method, which encourages teamwork and active participation, while the other group will receive traditional teaching methods.

To participate in this study, students must be in their second year of nursing and willing to take part. Over a few months, researchers will collect information on how well the students understand and perform physical assessments of the heart and thorax before and after the teaching sessions. This trial aims to find out if the Jigsaw IV method is more effective than traditional learning, which could lead to improved education for nursing students in the future.
