ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the impact of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) in the emergency department of Poitiers University Hospital in France. APNs are experienced nurses with advanced training who can provide care to patients with less severe conditions, helping to reduce waiting times and improve patient satisfaction. The goal of this study is to see how having these nurses affects patients' experiences and perceptions of the quality of care they receive in the emergency department.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult (18 years or older) who arrives at the fast-track unit while the APNs are on duty. Patients who choose not to participate, those with certain legal restrictions, or those who have difficulty understanding the study due to cognitive disorders or language barriers will not be included. If you take part, you can expect to complete a satisfaction survey about your care experience. The study will help gather information on how well the APNs are meeting patient needs and whether their presence improves the overall quality of care in the emergency department.
